About Us

Born in 1966 we are very proud of our brand history – these are the roots that always inspire us to create something special, and this is the reason our Stylo Matchmakers collection is exceptional. The brand was the biggest British sport shoe brand of the 60s/70s and 80s. The brand was created by a partnership between the UK biggest shoe factory Footshape Boot Works and IMG Founder Mark McCormack. The brand was not only a market leader in Football but Golf and Tennis also. With some of the worlds most famous football legends donning Stylo Matchmakers football boots; including Pele, George Best, Kevin Keegan, Bobby Moore, Billy Bremner, Liam Brady, Brian Clough, Bill Shankly and many more. We are totally in love with the traditional football shoes which motivate us to stand out whilst looking smart in those exceptionally crafted classics.
Unlike the other big corporate brands who are sold on the high street we are small family company. We don’t tie up millionaire footballers on big corporate sponsorship as we do not charge you for this instead our boots are worn by legends of the past and future. We play the game straight and not profit driven, it’s about our brand growth that was started in a small English shoe factory over 50 years ago. We are not money hungry and prefer to concentrate on doing things that are cool. Our products are not based on gimmicks that claim to make you play better but quality that fits.
